I'm doing the Impression Obsession Sweet Thoughts Challenge found here : http://mitrafriant.typepad.com/impression_obsession_news/2013/01/sweet-thoughts-challenge.html
I'm putting in a last minute entry (again) using a IO Gary Robertson (H1623) stamp with MME Miss Caroline (again !).
I won the last time I played and I haven't been able to pick which stamps to buy with my winnings. There are so many great ones and IO's Cover-A-Card stamps are so freaking awesome, I can't decide which I'll get, and I also see some IO flowers in my future !
The Sweet Thoughts challenge had me stumped for a while ( couldn't figure how to associate a lighthouse with it ), and I was thinking about sweet foods instead of thoughts. But it did say "sweet thoughts", so I hope this counts.

IO " I't's Your Choice" Challenge
The Impression Obsession challenge found here : http://mitrafriant.typepad.com/impression_obsession_news/2013/01/its-your-choice-challenge-and.html is an " It's Your Choice" challenge, which for me means, yet another IO Gary Robertson lighthouse stamp ( H1876). This is the first time using both this stamp and doing a frame type card. Nina showed how to do this type of card on the CropChocolate blog a while back and I thought it would be perfect for this image. I did a mock up of the card first because I found it a bit confusing, but after that it made sense to me. I also used the "I wish for you" stamp from a clear IO set (CL227) that I won from Daniella Dobson an IO DT member.
What you can't see in the photo, is that I covered the water area of the image with watered down Diamond Glaze for a subtle wet look, and the clouds have some Tim Holtz Rock Candy stickles thinly applied. I wish I had Flower Soft, but I don't, so I sprayed a bit of beige flocking with green Glimmer Mist and used that to add some texture to the grasses. The paper is MME Miss Caroline, which I love to use with all my IO Gary Robertson stamps. The red polka dot is MME Stella&Rose.
I'm an East Coast girl, but the shells were sent to me from South Padre Island, Texas.
Thanks for looking !
