The Impression Obsession challenge this time is about what you're thankful for. That's easy, as we talk about it just about every time we see the news or read the paper. I am deeply and profoundly thankful to be living in Nova Scotia. We have four seasons, a moderate climate, wonderful people, gorgeous scenery, no poisonous anything, no man-eating reptiles, no natural disasters and we have healthcare. It's pretty freaking perfect here ! So here's my quick little card that celebrates the beautiful East Coast !
I'm also thankful to IO for their wonderful scenic stamps. My local LSS has been getting some IO stamps in, and the lighthouse scenes go over very well here !
This is done with IO stamp H1876 coloured with Copics, the background is the Clouds IO Cover-A-Card CC091 and the sentiment is from the IO I Wish for You set CL227.

Not only is your card beautiful but it reflects your true statements! It is gorgeous here, people are nice (you as an example!!) and the seasons make the residents appreciate the beautiful weather of each season.

Very nice card. I now live in Southern Ontario and moved from Coldbrook (near Kentville). I miss the Maritimes very much. Love what you did to create the scene.

ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely, as usual! I am jealous of where you live-it sounds perfect! I live in the Chicago area and it is very busy and everyone's in such a hurry! I grew up in southern Indiana which is not so busy. I hope that you are feeling much better than a few weeks ago.
