This photo just screamed 'bokeh' to me. So I gave it a try and got white pigment ink everywhere! That darn stuff just refused to dry even with a heat gun. I have certainly learned that it may not be the best product to use when I'm in a hurry.
I'm a bit fond of shaker cards right now, so this card is another shaker using the Spellbinder's Mix-n-Match Ornaments. I made this card differently than my others by not raising the ornaments on foam tape, but instead using fun foam in behind. It is easier, but I'm not sure that I like it as much, but I like that it was easier! I filled the shakers with a mixture of beads and microbeads.
Those ornaments are just gorgeous, Shona!!! Wiggling, wiggling...... nothing!!!

ReplyDeleteWonderful card Shona. Love the pretty ornaments and the 'bokeh' background. What a fantastic take on the photo. Thank you for playing along with us at the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge.
ReplyDeleteThis card is gorgeous!! Love both the ornaments and the background!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely brilliant!! I love the background you created and know what you mean about white pigment ink....its not for the impatient crafter like myself! Those ornaments are so intricate and love you made them into shakers. Someone told me about the fun foam the other day instead of cutting up foam tape. Thought it sounded easier but will have to give it a go. Hope your getting organised for Xmas, I so am not!!
