I used a MFT Rose stencil with Molding Paste. I mixed the amount of paste I thought I'd need for a nice thick layer, with TH re-inkers. I just use wax paper for this so I don't have to clean it :)
I sprinkled glitter over it while it was wet. I also used another new to me, Simon Says Stamp die and stamp set. I cut the "you" out about four times so I could layer it up. The "are loved"is from the matching stamp set. I raised it on foam tape, but I didn't really like it until I added a little piece of black Doodlebug paper frills under it. That helped it stand out better. This card was FUN to make !
This is really vibrant and pretty. I love the glitter! I need to play more with stencils and the different mediums. I have bought stuff, but haven't had an extended uninterrupted block of time where I can experiment enough to get something that I am happy with out of the process. I don't want to only make a flopped project and have to quit and clean up. I don't have a craft room, so I have to clean up all the time. Anyway, I'm glad to hear that you're taking a class. I think I've run across a few other blogger friends/acquaintances who are taking that class.
