Colours of Summer

The Impression Obsession challenge is "Colours of Summer". I still have the gorgeous Hollyhock die by Impression Obsession that my friend, Carmen ( Papercraft Goddess) loaned to me. I love, love, love this die, and it always is out of stock whenever I go to place an order. I think I love it because although it is a Hollyhock die, it makes me think of Glads. I am crazy about Glads, and planted a lot of them and can't wait until they bloom. This card is very simple with a background embossed  with a Cuttlebug folder, and a lot of die cuts, which I painted with Peerless watercolours. I punched two holes in the top piece and threaded a ribbon through. I mounted the top on a card base made with Neenah Solar white #110lb card stock.
Thanks for looking!

  2. You must send me this card! (That would be to that me for "shutting it" about your last blog post.) If not, do no not expect me to refrain from commenting on your craziness or inability to follow directions (or as you call them "rules").
Really the card is beautiful and makes me think of Grandma's garden.
